While nothing is perfect, I personally feel and have to say that the USA is still the best country around. The fact that we can say it isn’t perfect and work for change is something we should never take for granted.
While some of our freedoms do result in annoyances (email spam and some strange perverted use of freedom of speech) they are still great to behold.
Be careful what you do and where you click over the holidays, but most important have some fun and celebrate the birth of this great country.

It looks like MySpace has finally won their lawsuit again Scott Richter.
On Friday June 13th (yes, on Friday the 13th), the American Arbitration Association awarded MySpace over $6 million in damages and attorney fees, as well as the entering of a permanent injunction against Scott Richter and Media Breakaway.
This is the second win for MySpace this year against spammers, and we are talking the big hitters too.
While I am not a huge MySpace user (I believe I do have an account there somewhere) I am very happy to hear that they are winning these battles.

We are launching a study on email spam filtering services and would like to get as many responses as possible.
Please take five minutes to fill out the survey here:
Email Spam Survey
We are offering a 60 day trial if you complete the survey (our trial is usually only 30 days).
Thanks for any help you can give on this :)

Hello any readers from http://www.obzokee.com/ (if you came from somewhere else, there was an interview done of me there).
I would love it if you took a few minutes to find out about Internet Defense Technology services. Please visit our homepage www.internetdefensetechnologies.com and our Email Spam Filter Product Page.
Would also love it if you would subscribe to my RSS feed.
I try to keep this blog fun and entertaining even though it is about a somewhat boring subject. I also like to keep you alerted and in the know about any dangers lurking around. So my blog would be useful for keeping on top of any dangers when surfing on the Internet or reading your email.
Let me know if there is anything in particular you need or would like to have written about here in the blog. You can follow me on twitter at Romie or check out my LinkedIn profile here.
See you around.

Just wanted to remind everyone that today is Earth Day so you should make an extra effort to do something nice for the planet today.
Tomorrow you can go back to your usual behaviors if you feel like it (though I recommend trying whatever you choose out for some time and see if it grows on you).
